4 Days Uganda Gorillas and Wildlife Safari

Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Your safari begins with a warm briefing from your guide then a luxurious road journey toward southwestern Uganda. The drive takes you through rich farmlands, local markets, terraced hills and scenic valleys with opportunities for photography along the way. Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Experience in Bwindi Forest

This is the highlight of your safari, a once in a lifetime encounter with the gentle giants of Bwindi. After an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing about gorilla trekking rules and group assignments. You then enter the ancient rainforest with expert rangers who lead you through dense vegetation, wildlife trails and scenic viewpoints. The trek may take between two and six hours depending on the gorilla family location, and the reward is an extraordinary hour spent observing these magnificent primates as they feed, interact and nurture their young. After the trek, tourists receive certificates to mark this unforgettable achievement. Spend the afternoon at leisure with options for a massage, a village walk or relaxing at the lodge terrace enjoying mist covered scenery. End the day with a luxury dinner and storytelling around a warm fireplace.

Day 3: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park – Afternoon Game Drive

After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed drive toward Lake Mburo National Park, a compact but wildlife rich savannah sanctuary. The journey allows tourists to appreciate rolling hills, shepherd communities and picturesque landscapes. Upon arrival, check in at your selected high end lodge then enjoy a freshly prepared lunch overlooking the park. In the afternoon, head out for a game drive across the open plains where you may encounter zebras, impalas, elands, giraffes, topis, buffaloes and graceful waterbirds. The small size of the park creates excellent wildlife viewing opportunities with fewer crowds, making the experience more intimate and peaceful. Return to the lodge in time for sunset and a fine dining experience under the warm African night sky.

Day 4: Return to Kampala – Departure

Listen to bird calls, observe animal behaviour and enjoy the tranquility of the natural environment. After returning to the lodge, enjoy breakfast, check out and begin your return drive to Kampala or Entebbe. Your guide makes comfortable stops along the way to ensure a relaxed journey. Arrive later in the afternoon, marking the end of your memorable luxury Uganda gorillas and wildlife safari.
